Feeders, litter boxes, cameras and fountains share one connectivity and cloud base, so a customer with two of your devices sees one account and one app. Which devices stream video and which only send events is decided up front, because that is what the cloud bill follows.

Sensing & vision
Linux + NPUCamera, weight, presence, water level
The sensing is what lets a device act correctly: weighing food and cats, seeing the bowl, knowing a cat is inside, detecting dry running. Our camera products run embedded Linux with an on-device 1 TOPS NPU, so pet tracking and multi-pet recognition are decided on the device, which keeps response fast and cloud cost low. Linux is hard to get right in a consumer product; we have shipped it.

Motion & mechanics
Dispensing, sifting, pumps, pan-tilt
Most pet-tech returns are mechanical: a jammed auger, a stuck drum, a noisy pump. The mechanism, its motor drive and its firmware are tuned together against real food, litter and water, and tested for long cycle counts.

Power, safety & approvals
Battery, protection, CE / FCC / food contact
Anything that moves near an animal needs hard limits: torque, temperature, anti-pinch. Batteries need transport testing before anyone ships them by air; food-contact parts need materials chosen for the market. These are planned at scoping, not discovered at the forwarder.
